PMC announced this week their acquisition of women’s lifestyle digital media company SheKnows Media, including all of its’ owned and operated brands BlogHer, HelloFlo, and StyleCaster. The acquisition follows PMC’s expansion strategy of the past five years during which they acquired Indie Wire, Robb Report, Fairchild Media, Variety, and Rolling Stone.
Operating in digital media and information services since 2004, PMC has significant experience in luxury media, retail, fashion, technology, and entertainment segments. The acquisition of SheKnows strengthens PMC in a number of these segments, scaling their reach, and increasing their dominance in the women’s interests vertical. SheKnows has 79 million unique visitors per month according to comScore, Jan 2018 that will be added to PMC’s monthly audience of over 210 million.

As part of the transaction Guelton remains SheKnows Media’s CEO, while Samantha Skey continues serving as Chief Revenue Officer and President. Both companies are based in New York City, with SheKnowsMedia moving into PMC headquarters in the coming months with some operations expanding in Scottsdale.
