Rochester-based The Entrepreneurs Network (TEN) is seeking entrepreneurs who reside in the upstate New York region for its entrepreneurial training program, “TEN Class XXIV Boot Camp Program Series”. Running from March to June, TEN’s Boot Camp assists entrepreneurs of scalable technology and life science ventures through coaching and instruction.
The Boot Camp, open only to ten selected entrepreneurs. consists of four two-to-three day programs spread out from March to June, having experts, speakers, and panelists who assist the entrepreneurs in creating a sustainable growth strategy for their ventures. In addition to the tutorial programs, entrepreneurs benefit from networking opportunities with the highly accomplished speakers and instructors, as well as fellow entrepreneur participants.
The training program has shown clear results: over 350 alumni report increases to their performance and growth, more than 50% are currently hiring, 22% have raised over $250,000, and 20% now have revenue greater than $1 million and 16% more than $5 million.
Jason Curtis, CEO of Epostmarks, spoke about how his venture gained from the program, saying that, “The national contacts we've made through TEN have greatly benefited our company.”
Applying companies must be an early-stage life science, technology, high revenue, family-owned and/or scalable potential small business operating primarily in upstate New York. Additionally, all applicants must put forward a candidate to attend the programs who hold a controlling position within the company. There is a one-time processing fee of $350 for approved applications.
