Cornell Tech continues to place a spotlight on the collaborative innovation that is occurring on their newly opened Roosevelt Island campus. On December 14th students, faculty, and researchers will participate in its Open Studio, where they will give presentations and project demos highlighting work done collaboratively with companies such as IBM, the New York Times, Amazon, and others. These are just a few examples of how Cornell Tech is fulfilling its mission to provide a catalytic environment that will reinvent current living in the digital age.
This is the first Open Studio on the new campus, following temporary quarters in the Google building during campus construction. The Studio will include presentations from Cornell Tech student-founded startups in the areas of health, education, fintech, and more.
Upon full completion the campus will have two million square feet of state-of-the-art buildings, over two acres of open space, and will be home to more than 2,000 graduate students and hundreds of faculty and staff. Ongoing groundbreaking research through extensive collaboration with tech-oriented organizations is a hallmark of Cornell Tech’s entrepreneurial focused programs.
