One of the key contributors to the success of Jet.com is moving on, joining global venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates, Inc. (NEA). The announcement was made this week that Jet.com President Liza Landsman will be joining the vc firm as Venture Partner in early spring. New Jersey based Jet.com is a former NEA portfolio company.
In her new position in the NEA New York City office Landsman will focus on consumer technology and commerce. Landsman leaves behind some noteworthy achievements, serving as Jet.com’s growth driver. "I am thrilled to be joining NEA in the coming months and look forward to working across the firm's portfolio as part of one of the world's largest venture capital firms," said Landsman in a press release. "I have centered my career around helping brands leverage data and insights to best serve the consumer, and I am excited to work with NEA and its partners to continue fostering innovative ideas and strategies for companies throughout their lifecycle."
Landsman truly has had a storied career in growing businesses. She has over 25 years directing customer engagement through internet, mobile, digital and social media. As chief marketing officer at E*TRADE Financial, she led the firm's marketing initiatives, including advertising, customer engagement, analytics and insights and branding campaigns.
